June 2014

 

We had a fun and busy June this year.

Ryan’s sister Jenn and her husband Michael moved to Federal Way and his mom helped them move in. We did some fun things with Grandma like playing at the park and visiting downtown Seattle.

Grandma was also in town for Father’s Day, my birthday, and Nathan’s preschool graduation. Lots of parties at our house!

Speaking of graduation, we got to drive up to Bellingham to see Kevin Graduate from Western Washington University.

When you graduate from a hippie school with a degree from the college of the environment, you get bluegrass music and a tree to plant instead of a diploma.

We celebrated our 8th anniversary on May 4th.

And Cinco de Mayo on the 5th.

Nathan got to go to the Kindergarten Round-up and ride a school bus!

   

I celebrated Mother’s Day with a fiesta and program at Nathan’s preschool.

   

The day of, Nana and Papa celebrated with us.

Despite appearances, Nathan did NOT hit his sister over the head with that rock.

Ryan and I celebrated the end of one of our favorite shows. I love doing silly things like that with him.

Nathan took swimming lessons for the first time and he improved greatly, although he still doesn’t like putting his face in the water.

We enjoyed beautiful weather.

Emma reminded us again why we call her “sweevil” when she oh so sweetly decided to clean my cupboards,

then turned around and filled the toilet with trash.

Yep, definitely two.
